In this month’s article for Elara Nova’s “Partner Insights” blog, the topic for discussion was the Cybersecurity Maturity Model 2.0 (CMMC 2.0) framework rolled out by the Department of Defense (DOD). This framework is designed to ensure that agencies within the DOD and any of their industry partners have established minimum cybersecurity requirements according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology guidelines.
The CMMC 2.0 framework is widely seen as a step forward in the DOD’s push for accomplishing it’s “Zero-Trust Strategy” by 2027.
