C2 for Military Space Assets

The Space Force is seeking to unify its command and control (C2) capability across military space assets. A more unified approach is the foundational step toward enabling the dynamic space operations needed for future space-based capabilities.

The latest episode of “The Elara Edge: Expert Insights in Space Security,” provides commentary and analysis on the the Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) program that the Space Force is implementing to facilitate dynamic space operations.

The subject matter expert for this episode is:

  • Former Maj Gen Mike Carey, partner at Elara Nova; the former Deputy Director for Command, Control and Nuclear Operations, The Joint Staff; former founder, chief operating and chief strategy officer of ATLAS Space Operations
